Boarding is often a last resort for many pet owners. It can be so hard and stressful to find the right person for you. So many places still only offer hutches for rabbits and guineapigs. Sadly, this just isn’t enough space for them. I only have up to 3 families in at a time (3 separate enclosures and kept apart). Therefore, I urge everyone to book in as soon as possible to ensure they get a space. I do not and will not house anymore than 4 rabbits (a quad) or 5 guinea pigs (a quintet) at any one time (in the same enclosure).

I now only offer outdoor boarding for guineapigs and rabbits but have got indoor available for rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils. The outdoor enclosure for guineapigs and rabbits is above the 60sqft recommended minimum.

Whilst here, your fury/feathery friends will be treated like royalty, I send photos and updates daily but please be patient, I have many enquiries daily.  I also care for my own fury family along side this.

My set ups are weather and predator proof. I offer timothy hay, straw, forage, toys, daily brushing, a clean and suitable set up, clean bedding and lots of love. However, I do ask if you have specific treats or toys, that you bring them with you, although I'm sure your fury friends will love ours.

I also ask all clients to bring their own pellets/kibble/seeds.

For stays longer than 2 weeks, I can offer discounted prices but this needs to be discussed privately via my email or Facebook page. I do recommend that all potential clients check out my social media accounts (all known as WRR pet services), here you will find photos and information about my business. Do not hesitate to contact me, although it can sometimes take a few hours to reply.

I can administer oral medications and if shown how and where, subcutaneous injections. I am not able to administer IV, IM or similar injections though by law.

If medication is needed, please bring enough for the entire stay. I do have my own medical box, this only supplies basics such as critical care, styptic powder, vet grade ear and eye drops and few other items.

We get many nervous, reactive and elderly pets with extra needs and it's for this reason we cannot offer in person visits. Pet theft is also a huge concern! In the last few years, this has greatly risen, not everyone is who they say they are, some may be here to scope out our property and to ensure everyone is kept safe, there is no one in the property. It has risen by 30% in the last few years. VHD and Myxomatosis are deadly diseases, to ensure everyone is kept safe, we ensure we know who enters and leaves this property, this means we rarely get to see family anymore as well. We ourselves can change clothes, wear PPE and follow through with protocols but other people won't be able to do this, this would mean unnecessarily putting others at risk. Both of these nasty diseases can be carried on clothes and shoes. With vaccines being 60-80% effective we must ensure we have other tight restrictions in place to keep everyone safe. To ensure we can stay open, it's now only the 3 people who live here that enter and leave. We can however offer video calls to show you around and see what's here.

Lastly, this is our home, our private space. We have lots of guests arriving and leaving everyday. We want to ensure our property is kept clean, tidy and peaceful for our guests but also our own pets and local neighbours.
