Please note, I WILL muzzle any dogs I feel are showing aggressive tendencies or attempting to bite me during the groom. I will try my best to ensure that aren’t, but I WILL NOT put myself at risk of being bitten. Properly fitted muzzles do not cause any stress or injuries. I will avoid using them if I can, but sometimes they are necessary. A dog bite is serious and they can result in your precious pup being taken. I will never cause unnecessary stress and mine and your dogs safety is my top priority.

Full Groom: 

This involves a good brush through of the fur, trimming any fur that needs it, nail trimming, full visual health check, a bath and blow dry, eye cleaning and ear cleaning.

Short haired – £20

Medium length haired – £25

Long haired – £30

Double coated breeds – £40

Shaving: 

Shaving is an easy way to relieve pets from severe heat or matts. I will NOT shave double coated breeds, it messes with their fur pattern and can make it grow back in odd ways or in some cases, it may never grow back. For some breeds such as poodles, it necessary to shave to keep their coat in good condition. Please note, if your pet/s comes to me full of matts, I will shave them, brushing through matts can be extremely stressful and be a very long process.

Short haired:

For short haired rabbits, I will groom with the hair buster comb, clean the ears, trim the nails and check the bum area. I will also give a full visual health check and let you know if I find anything which could be a cause for concern.

Medium haired: 

For rabbits with medium length fur, I will groom with the hair buster, trim any fur that needs trimming, clean the ears, trim the nails and check the bum area. I will also give a full visual health check and let you know if I find anything which could be a cause for concern. 

This service costs £15

Thick/long haired: 

For rabbits with long or thick fur, I will groom with my hair buster comb and under coat comb, trim the fur that needs trimming, clean the ears and trim any ear fur and check the bum area and trim around it. I also give a full visual health check and let you know if I find anything which could be a cause for concern.

Shaving: 

Some breeds of rabbits need shaving 2-4 times a year, this is breeds such as Double maned lion heads, Angoras and Jersey woolys. Shaving isn’t as easy as it sounds and can take hours, it also very easy to accidentally injure your bunny, this is why its always best to seek professional help. As well as shaving, I will also give a full visual health check, clean the ears, check the bum area, trim the nails and trim the fur that needs doing. My shaving tools are top of the range and very high quality.

Bum cleaning: 

Messy bums are a huge welfare concern and are non negotiable, if a rabbit comes to me with a messy bum, I will automatically start doing this and is an extra charge on top. Rabbits with this issue are at extreme risk to flystrike and gi-stasis. If you notice this but not sure what to do, please do let me know and I would be happy to either book you in or give out advice on how to help. It's not always the owners fault, sometimes they may have come to them with it or maybe they weren’t able to notice until too late. I am judgement free. If this problem is ongoing, please seek a vet. If the problem does not get sorted with vet help, I am legally obliged to report to the relevant people.

De-matting:

Sometimes, shaving is necessary. Severe matting caused for various reasons can result in shaving being needed. It is always a last resort, but I will not let any pet leave my care with matts or knots. This is an extra charge on top of your grooming package.
